![]() Allen Meyers is certified as an executive chef by the American Culinary Federation, A member of TSFSA and an approved consultant by the Texas Educational Agency. He is a graduate of University of Southern California with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management as well as having attended NFSMI and numerous HACCP workshops and seminars. His professional food service career has included being an executive chef for Baylor University, Corporate Consulting Chef for campus dining services Aramark, Horseshoe Club in Las Vegas, and a number of Country Clubs, as well as private ventures. His management experience includes Training Manager for a national restaurant concern and district manager for a national fast food chain. He was voted the 1994 Texas State Chef of the Year and is the holder of numerous culinary first and second place awards. He has given HACCP seminars in several states as well as seminars on supervision and management. His consulting includes new school construction, kitchen and equipment add-on as well as bar code inventory control. site selection, cost and inventory control He prides himself on realistic, down to earth, problem solving, and realizes each districts needs are unique.
