Employee Training |
The person in charge of food safety in the kitchen is charged with the responsibility of making certain the staff is properly trained. Generally speaking a professional trainer can do a better job then the average in house person in charge. Certified Foodservice Consulting has an excellent training program that gets results.
In addition to the information needed, the staff member must be able to demonstrate that knowledge they have acquired on a day-to-day basis. In order to do this the trainer and the training must have the following:
A presence and a delivery that is understandable and speaks to each of them with words and phrases they understand.
They are involved in production so your training must not focus on isolated procedures, but rather procedures that are part of the cooking and preparation process.
They must never feel as if they are being talked down to or that their mentality is anything less then acceptable.
The trainer must make them feel they are all important to the process and the end result will be a more professionally focused staff member with a greater regard for themselves and their commitment to the job.
Your foodservice doctor, Certified Foodservice Consulting can do the training in a manner that assures compliance from all of your staff members or can place into your hands a training program that your district trainer can use effectively.
